Without Attribution

by Emily Dickinson

Published by Thornwillow Press in 2020

Of the more than 1700 poems that Emily Dickinson wrote during her lifetime, only eleven are known to have appeared in print before her death—some heavily edited, many dubiously acquired, and all published without attribution.

This publication was a pet project of mine, and I led the development of Without Attribution from first concept through publication, binding, and fulfillment. Besides researching and curating the selection of poems, I also contributed an original introduction to the volume outlining the space these poems occupy in Dickinson’s oevre.
